PEARL HARBOR

I’d like to recommend a film which I have seen twice, called Pearl Harbor. The director of the film is Michael Bay. 

The film is a drama and the setting is Pearl Harbor, Hawaii during the Second World War. The main characters are two friends. Rafe (Ben Affleck) goes to the war and everybody thinks that he is dead. Evelyn (Kate Beckinsale) and Danny (Josh Hartnett) fall in love. When Rafe appears, he fights with Danny, because Evelyn was his girlfriend. The Japanese bombarded the island and they have to fight with them. They go to a special mission to bomb Tokyo. There, the Japanese kill Danny and Rafe goes home with Evelyn. Finally, they have a little boy called Danny.

The things I liked most about the film were the characters and the theme of love. Some of scenes are memorable because they are real, and the plot is real and sometimes is a bit sad. 

All in all, I really like the drama, and thought it has got a sad end, I would change it, because a lot of people die, so it’s sad. It’s a nice film to see, but it’s still got a strong message, because the film dramatizes what happened.
